Once again, we “points of
light”
Gather together in our
noble fight
To bridge the gap, because
others won’t
Between those that have,
and
those that don’t.
Am I blue? Well, I voted
so,
and my state and country,
as you
know,
voted red, so here I am,
smiling bravely; meek as a
lamb.
A sore loser, you might
rightly say,
that I bitterly curse
election day.
It will be far more
bitter, I say with
nerve,
for the folks VLP tries to
serve.
All right, all right, I’ll
stop my
whining,
It’s out of place after
this fine
dining.
I’ll just consider the
options open
to me,
Like Canada, the truth
north
strong and free.
So, to the point it’s time
I came
To say without hint of
shame
That regardless of whether
you’re
red or blue,
If you help VLP, we all
thank you.
